Happy September, everyone! It’s time for me to share what I did with both my reading and bullet journal spreads for this month. I was definitely looking forward to having some autumnal spreads this month – here’s how that turned out!

September Reading Journal Setup

Title Page & TBR

I really wasn’t sure how to incorporate autumnal things with the black pages this month, but I think I got it to work! I glued in this plaid pattern and added some brown and orange stripes. Then I placed the titles over it with white paper and added the maroon washi tape as a border. Finally, I added some accents of leaves and vines with my gold paint pen and my white gel pen. I guess it works! 

Books and Pages Read

I continued the plaid paper for the read page and used some vines in place of the “Pages Read” title.

Now for my bullet journal, I went for a mustard yellow and brown theme. It’s fairly simple, with a combination of washi tapes, stickers, and simple illustrations. Apparently, the tip of my brush pen is no longer smooth so I had a lot of trouble lettering the smaller text, but I suppose it’s legible enough! 

Weekly Spread

So it looks like my bullet journal is basically just a regular planner now – as you can see, my weekly tracker spreads are gone. I’m going to see how I do, but I basically didn’t use them last month and was still on track with my goals. I still have my “This Week” section to make sure I’m on top of my weekly and monthly goals, and I’ve primarily been using that to keep track of what needs to be done in the (semi) long term.
