It was time for a change…again.

It seems like every year I try to rebrand my blog. New color scheme, new graphics, maybe some new page layouts here and there.

But this year, I wanted to take it a little further. It’s time for a new Julie Anna’s Books.

The 2022 brand didn’t even last that long – no, it wasn’t even DONE – when this new rebrand started. It was just a little over a week ago, and I was here, just typing up my January wrap-up. But man, the inspiration was just not there. In 2023, my plans were to take reviewing a bit more casually and to have the blog and my Bookstagram reflect that. But the thing is, my blog didn’t reflect that…yet.

I have no idea how many readers (if any) have been around since the Sincerely Julie Anna days, but if you haven’t, that’s what my blog started as five years ago. It was a personal growth and lifestyle blog, and the goal of it wasn’t so much about gaining readership, but more of a personal account of my own self-growth. And as that continued, I realized that I enjoyed writing content that could also be helpful to others.

But then I left the blog idle for a bit, as my project was done and I didn’t feel the happiest with my content.

Eventually, I decided to join Bookstragram, and thought to myself – why not turn my blog into a book blog. Three (?) years later, here we are.

So, where am I going with this? Thinking back, I do kind of miss my old content. The constant reviews and wrapups just don’t give me the same kind of joy that they used to. But I also still want my blog to be primarily bookish. Bookish lifestyle, if you will. So it’s time to revive the spark with this new rebrand – and my love for writing content, too! I’m enjoying this free-flow of writing already, and I hope you will too.

So if you’re wondering what’s going on with this new blog, that’s the lowdown. I definitely still plan on reviewing and whatnot, but I’d love to try some new things as far as blog posts go.

As always, thank you for reading – and I hope to hear from you soon!

I love the new look and look forward to what you’ll post about. I often coordinate my IG posts and my blog posts and find that they translate pretty well.
