Happy April, everyone!
So, as expected, it didn’t take long for me to start creating simpler spreads now that I’m managing two journals. It also didn’t take long for me to merge both setups into one post. I have to admit, I didn’t feel like going all out on my bullet journal this month! That being said, I am happy with both of them. Having a notebook I can customize is working wonders in terms of keeping myself organized and on top of my goals. Here’s what they look like this month!
April Reading Journal Setup
Title Page & TBR
I think I found my inspiration with the kraft paper again! This month I went with some neutral tones and a nice, Spring-y green. I used a combination of stickers, washi tape, and papers to put this together, and did the lettering with my stamps as usual. I probably should have done the title a little larger, but it’s fine. 😅
Books and Pages Read
I feel like I can’t go wrong with these spreads! They’re so easy to set up and I love tracking my reads with them. It was even easier to decorate with the washi tape and stickers.
April Bullet Journal Setup
Title Page & Calendar
Here’s where my bullet journal gets a little more simple! To be honest, I did not feel like doing the full calendar this month. I also wanted to try a bullet journal spread a little less cluttered!
Most of my spreads are inspired by stationery I already have, and in this case, it was inspired by the cute cat sticker on the title page. This sticker in particular was on the front of the sticker box with a pastel yellow background, so I decided to theme my bullet journal around that this month. I also decided to do the dark pink/red hearts all around, so there’s lots of dark pink and yellow throughout. It’s kind of like the Hot Dog Stand theme from Windows 3.1, but easier on the eyes. And with cats.
Weekly Spread
I ended up making a few changes to my spreads! The left side is pretty much the same, but I have some changes in the bottom-right corner.
I’m still tracking my mood as usual. I’m also keeping my weight tracker there so I’m still considering my strength goals But I also wanted to make sure I was referring to my monthly goals often and including that in each week’s planning. So in a sense, this is like a ‘week in review’ section to make sure I’m staying on top of my goals. I’m looking forward to seeing how it turns out!
That’s everything for both my reading journal and bullet journal this month. If you journal too and share your spreads, whether on your blog or Instagram, or elsewhere, let me know! I’d love to see them! 🖤

hwo do you make your journal look so pretty? your handwriting is so neat and lovely
Thank you so so much! I love writing often and write slowly to make my handwriting a bit better. I’m not the best at drawing so stickers / washi always helps! I love collecting stationery and paper scraps to use too. <3
