I’m Julie Anna, a twenty-something from New York who likes to read – a lot.

I originally started this blog after graduating from college as a self-discovery project, which I ran for about a year and a half. I took that blog in the direction of lifestyle and self-help with a mix of journaling…but eventually I learned it wasn’t exactly what I wanted to blog about.

However, in that time I met a lot of new people, some of which introduced me to the bookish community. And so for the last two years I’ve been watching videos, reading posts from the sidelines, and silently posting Goodreads reviews. But in 2019, I finally decided to re-brand and join the community.

Other than the whole book thing, I am a web developer and like to learn new things in the field in my spare time. Aside from everything else that is nerdy about me, I also play the drums (and like to dabble in other instruments every now and then).
